I got close with a lot of humans, really. Da Vinci, you, Michelangelo. Someone I got really close with was Luisa, though. Gosh she was a beauty… I mean really without her no one would probably bother to visit my city nowadays. 

I just spent days with her as she grew up. People thought we had a thing, but… As a Medici, a noblewoman, she had duties to tend to. Marrying another man. Enjoying life. Without me. Of course I missed her. Especially when she moved away with her husband. But she was happy and I could do absolutely nothing about it.

Then… Then I saw her at her deathbed. Talking to me about how she was glad she at least got to save the Medici family’s vast collection in the city. My city. 

Ah! I’m rambling. Sorry ‘bout that.
